The Wellcome Trust Conference Centre offers an extremely varied
selection of rooms, suitable for many purposes. From a 300-seat
auditorium to smaller rooms useful for breakout groups or
interviews.
All our main conference rooms have standard AV equipment: data
projection, screen, flipchart, etc. and a trainer's stationery box
(supplied as appropriate to the style of the meeting). All rooms
have natural daylight, natural air ventilation, and air
conditioning. Most rooms have relaxing views across the
grounds.
The Auditorium has a tiered seating capacity of 300 with excellent
acoustics. Using the latest touch-screen control system, it is
possible to show videotapes, DVDs, data projection with access to
the Internet and single-slide projection. Sound and light mixing
desks provide advanced audiovisual effects on stage. In addition,
meetings can be audio and video recorded. Video conferencing,
webcasting and satellite link-up facilities are also available.

This room, which overlooks the walled orchard garden and has
relaxing views over the grounds, provides a light and airy
multifunctional meeting room. The facility offers a wide range of

This dedicated IT training room, with 20 dual-boot desktop
computers (plus a trainer's computer) has two operating systems
provided for dedicated IT training purposes - either Microsoft
Windows XP or Ubuntu Linux. The integrated furniture allows easy
